Day FOUR

Ok, bus is done! Woo HOO!! We had decided to take both Mooresville and Martinsville Camps today on the field trip due to bus not being ready earlier. You would know it Martinsville had 46 kids and Mooresville had 26! hummm, how do you do this with a 69 passenger bus, and get staff on the bus? So, we decided to take the van. Guess what? Started the van up, started to pull out of the Y and *clunk*clunk* died...UGH! So van could not be used, needs to go into the shop. Just the sign of how the day is going to go! 3 Martinsville staff (me included) and one Mooresville staff had to drive our own cars and load up kids. So 4 cars and a 69 passenger bus to go roller skating. Don't get me wrong roller skating is my all time favorite field trip, but WOW! Didn't get too much at the Y today done, sorry E I had to leave you. Field Trip was fine, all but a small matter of my lil love bug closing her leg in the door. (just the Neal luck! sorry honey!) BUT it is a pretty colorful bruise on the bright side. :-) Roller Skating was fun, burned a whole lot of calories. THANK YOU Jeanna for your patience with me, the staff and the directions or lack of direction. We will be better next week! Happy Friday All! It has been a very tiring week.

Day Three

Day Three was spent trying to figure out if the bus was going to be done by the end of the week. Had to drive the Y van to Mooresville to pick them up so they could come down to swim. Thank you Leslie for your help with this! Leslie gets ready to make the first trip back to Mooresville, loads the van and UGHHHHH!!! The van won't start! Dead as a doorknob. Jumped it after much discussion of where in my PT Cruiser is the battery hook ups, and Mooresville was delivered back safley. This is a timely task, for you have to drive them up, drive back alone and then drive back with the second group and back alone.

The two boys doing community service came in and started on the flower garden and finishing the shrubs (sorry no pics yet). One of the evening cleaning ladies was in and she is awesome! Windows in the front office all clean and shiny! Robin I was sweeping under your desk (I PROMISE I DID NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY!!!) and I found a pair of your shoes! :-) woo hoo! I also got the desk area clean with the dry vac and wiped down by the desk staff. SHINY!
